NEW GENERATION STEEL RULE DIE INC.
Our Process
This is a step by step timeline to describe the process of completing a die.

Step 1: Design & Program
With Program & Design we take our clients idea and bring it to life. Our trained programmers work closely with our clients to ensure accuracy in step one of our process.

Step 2: Laser
Once at our lasers, we are able to upload the digital design file, mount the specific size board and start the process of burning the design into the wood.

Step 3: Ruling

After the board has been burned and prepped it is ready for ruling. We use various types and styles of rule that all have different purposes for each individual design. Top of the art machinery, such as the Rotax, Easy Bender R-Pro and Easy Bender Turbo, cut the rule to the exact size and fitting of each specific design and strategic offset stripping knives in places.

Step 4: Rubbering
Once ruling is finished and inspected we arrive at the rubbering part of our process. Our rubbering process is specific to each design. We use specific types of rubber to make sure that all areas of the die are covered which ensures even pressure distributed throughout the die when it is mounted and running on the press.

Step 5: Cutting Sample
The final step in our process after the die is inspected and checked after rubbering is to mount the die on our press. We use the clients desired corrugated to run off a sample. This helps us check and inspect to make sure the design runs off properly and is to spec for the client when requested.
